We launched Admiral in 1993, giving people who were traditionally considered high risk the chance to buy affordable, quality car insurance. It's been plain sailing ever since with incredible growth, the launch of four brands and two wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK. Right now we have over 2 million customers, a 3,000 strong crew and an incredible annual turnover of £1,077 million. All our staff are shareholders in the company and benefit directly from the free company shares scheme. Over £9 million worth of free shares were distributed to staff in 2009.
Our company culture's friendly and relaxed with a strong family feel. On top of the great career opportunities and training we firmly believe that 'people who like what they do, do it better'. That's why we make coming to work as enjoyable as possible, after all being happy in work means a better service for our customers.
